Hamburger Biscuits
Brian White
"I love them and it's also fairly neat because it was my favorite meal as a kid and my mom made them for me for years," says Brian White, iParenting's Dad of the Month.
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 or 2 tubes Pillsbury Grand Biscuits
Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
Brown the ground beef and onion together. Drain off any fat and set aside.
Open the biscuits and separate. Flatten each until it is about 1/4 inch thick. Place 1 or 2 tablespoons of the ground beef and 1 tablespoon of the cheese on the top of half the biscuits. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Place another biscuit over the top and seal edges. Bake according to package directions.
Suggestions
Great served with buttered elbow macaroni and applesauce.
